Pregnancy is a time of incredible change within the body as a new life grows and develops inside the body. Whether you have practised yoga before or not, practising during pregnancy will help support you during this period of transition.
Classes are designed to help build strength and flexibility in the body, in preparation for the road ahead, and also give time for relaxing the body and the mind. Yoga will help to boost circulation, mobilise the spine, stimulate the digestive system and can help with many of the aches and pains that can arise during pregnancy. Breathing exercises will also be used to calm the busy mind, providing simple techniques that can be used away from class to help with relaxation. And of course, there is the added benefit of being in a class with other mums-to-be from your local area!
Pregnancy yoga classes are suitable from 13 weeks. Classes are completely suitable for beginners so do not worry if you have not done yoga before – for many women the first time they do yoga is during pregnancy!

5 week block – £35
You are welcome to bring your own mat, however mats will be available if required. Blocks and other props will also be provided where needed. Wear comfortable clothing that will allow for movement of the body. During relaxation, the body can cool down very quickly so you may wish to bring something warmer to wear for this time (blankets may be available).
